INCANNEL FIRMER GOUGES

Standard length carpenters chisels with gouge shaped blades. Incannel gouges are ground inside giving an outside cutting edge.
The blade is approximately 4″ long.

OUTCANNEL FIRMER GOUGES

REGISTERED MORTICE CHISELS

Thicker than the firmer chisels, these registered chisels have the strength to cut and lever out waste wood, making them capable of heavy-duty work.
The blade is approximately 4 ½” long.

CRANKED BEVEL EDGE PARING CHISELS

The bent, or ‘cranked neck’, design of these special paring chisels allows them to be used with the blade absolutely flat on the stock at all times.
The blade is approximately 7 ½” long.

LONG THIN BEVEL EDGE PARING CHISELS 

These chisels with relatively thin blades taper towards the cutting edge.

HD SOCKET FIRMER CHISELS

These chisels have a thicker and longer socket than our bevel edge model for added strength and durability.

FIRMER CHISELS

The firmer chisel is the most commonly used standard length carpenters chisel – a great all-rounder for cabinet makers, carpenters and DIYers alike.
The blade is approximately 4″ long.

BEVEL EDGE FIRMER CHISELS

These chisels have the advantage of being able to work into the corners of dovetail joints and other joints with acute angles .
The blade is approximately 4 ½” long.

SHORT CRANK CHISELS

These shorter blades are easier to control than the standard longer models. Their offset handle design keeps the blades perfectly flat on the workpiece and your hands out of the way, improving cutting accuracy and making work in confined spaces much easier.

SWAN NECK CHISELS

A swan neck chisel is used to clean the bottom of mortices. The chisel is levered in use, not struck.
The blade is approximately 4 ½” long.

BEVEL EDGE CHISELS

These chisels are well suited for fine joinery and general cabinet making as they are able to work into tight spaces and acute angles .

MORTICE CHISELS

Specialist chisels created for cutting out mortices. They are designed to withstand heavy blows from a mallet, and can be used for cutting across the grain as well as for levering waste material.
