SUPERFLUTE BOWL GOUGES

The original Superflute HS1, designed in 1978 by Roy Child, has sold in thousands all over the world and remains the ultimate gouge used by many leading turners.

The Superflute can also be bought with a fingernail grind, by adding an ‘A’ to the product ref. (e.g., HS84A)

TRADITIONAL BOWL GOUGES

The ‘U’ shaped flute of the traditional Diamic bowl gouge is still a popular choice among many woodturners today.

SPINDLE ROUGHING GOUGES

These large gouges are used between centres to take the corners off and shape shallow curves. Used with a slicing cut, they can give an excellent finish akin to that produced by the skew.
